ROCKSTAR's Pat Benatar is a promising young female out of our herd sire, Crescent Moon's Misstifier! She's built like a fuzzy little battle tank - excellent bone, gobs of soft, bundled, bright, long, stapled fleece. Considering what she was competing against on the show ring in late 2025 and early 2026 (including her own herd mates), Pat held her own in the show ring, placing 3rd or 4th in most shows despite having amazing fleece traits. She won 1st place in her class at the IFA Fleece Show at AOA Nationals. We'll show her fleece during the summer of 2026 - I think it should do extremely well. This two-time Color Champion in both the AOA National and PNAA IFA fleece shows in 2025, this girl has a bright future ahead. Her fleece is luxurious and ohhhh sooo fine - Grade 0!! Both mom and especially dad passed forward notable substance of bone, a lengthy staple, and lots of glorious golden fleece. Star has a perfect bite and is starting to notice the boys... we'll hold her until next summer for breeding. Who will be her first date?? Star is headed up to Washington to breed to non-other than Badger Canyon's Destined King. We're really excited about the breeding and know it will produce an amazing result!

At the tender age of 19, Missy, or Swiss Miss has been a rock-solid production female for the ROCKSTAR's foundation herd, and a dream to own! She is the champion daughter of the super-fine powerhouse Snowmass Andean Night and Pachacuti's Haze. She is a GREAT mom, breeds, and births with ease and will be the first to greet you in the pasture - especially if you're carrying the pellet bucket! Her fleece after many cria's is still amazingly soft and she is holding her micron in the low 20's, with a low SD and CV numbers - awesome for a breeding female. Missy is tall and statuesque with great body capacity, excellent substance of bone, typey head, and perfect bite. Missy has earned her right to an easy retirement with all she's given us. She spends her days now doting over her granddaughter and daughter.

8/17/26 - Melody delivers a gorgeous fawn female by UINTA Resolute. She is so pretty - tall, statuesque, and thus far living her best life. Stay tuned for photos! ROCKSTAR's Unchained Melody is a pretty female out of our Maggie May and by Deja Vu's Royal Legacy by Best Man. She carries a very soft handling fleece with blinding brightness and is extremely uniform across her blanket. Mel has a compact frame, perfect bite, level topline and gorgeous head. We are only listing her for sale due to the need to downsize some. She comes from a beloved line of alpacas on our farm - Bon Jovi, Boogaloo, and Kashmir to name a few.

ROCKSTAR's Twisted Sister is like no other. One of the most decorated females in our herd - a 3X Color Champion and everything we breed for in an alpaca. In addition to her lovely fleece, she's also got a big, BIG personality, which she lived up to while showing and continues to flaunt to this day. Everything about her is lovely - her fleece as a juvie, yearling, and now at nearly 10 years old is still gorgeous - bright, bright white, dense, fine, uniform crimp down through to her belly and into her extremities. What's not to love? This summer, she was exposed to our multi-champion herdsire, Crescent Moon's Misstifier, proudly co-owned with Thordarson Farms, LLC in Redmond, OR. We're loving what we see pushed forward with Misstifier and believe the resulting cria will be fabulous. This will be one of our most highly anticipated cria of the year.

Lily has been held open in order for us to help her clear a skin infection. She will be exposed to H2R Velocity, our newest herdsire that we proudly co-own with Happy Hounds Alpacas in Sisters, OR. Once bred her price will go up so grab her while you can! She is the dam and grandadam of multi champions! Diamond 'Lil is a very special ROCKSTAR. Hailing from the notable genetic powerhouse Hummingherd Alpacas, Lilly (as we call her) has dramatically contributed to our herd, representing the next generation of highly evolved fleeces we were yearning for. The daughter of Eastwind's Snowstorm and Xanadu Diamond Dust, we knew we had something special. Lil is a sweetheart to handle and has excellent conformation, a level topline, and a perfect bite. Her uber-fine, bright white fleece as a yearling was amongst the densest we'd ever had on our farm. Lilly's 2017 cria, ROCKSTAR's Sweet Child of Mine, recently won the 2018 GWAS White Walking Fleece Color Championship! It was a wonderful surprise to us, but now, looking at her skirted fleece, I can see how Lilly contributed to this very advanced blanket. She is so fine, uniform, and BRIGHT. She is astonishing and arguably among the best fleeces we've produced on our farm. Sweetie won the white fleece color championship and white walking fleece color championship at the 2018 Gold Country Gathering, along with being named Judges Choice in the fleece show. Sweetie possesses those hallmark fleece traits of her dam, such as sustained fineness, bright, bright fiber with gorgeous architecture, and long, tightly bundled staples. Sweetie would move forward with her breeding career to deliver us a gorgeous male by our super-stud Silver Rose Overture - ROCKSTAR's High Voltage. Volt has enjoyed a marvelous show career, earning his 7th banner this spring (2023). Lil's genetics pushed forward to her cria, are immeasurable, as exhibited by her Judges Choice daughter and her 10x banner-winning son. Add to the that Lil is granddam to ROCKSTAR's Takin' Care of Business, full brother to High Voltage, and himself a multi color champion.

ROCKSTAR's Foxy Lady is not only one of our up-and-coming stars but was the undisputed STAR of a wedding-styled photoshoot at our ranch on the very day she was born. Not at all camera shy, this little lovely graced "The Knot" featured photoshoot with her gorgeous color and heavenly sweet temperament at the noteworthy age of about 1 hour. She is the daughter of our own ROCKSTAR's Iron Maiden (U.S. Steel daughter) and Janus' Grey Fox of Granite Bay. Maiden is a farm favorite given her sweet temperament and rocks a seriously fine and beautiful medium silver grey spotless fleece. Grey Fox is a color champion who passes down some serious volume to his offspring. Foxy Lady is well conformed and compact with very nice bone, a pretty head, a nice top line and has a perfect bite. Her fleece is a beautiful medium silver grey and is super fine and uniform.

For now, we plan to keep Sweetie in our foundation "stud female" herd as she represents the next generation of everything fleece we could hope for. She has produced ROCKSTAR's High Voltage (multi-banner Champ), ROCKSTAR's Takin' Care of Business (Champ & Judges Select), and ROCKSTAR's Sweet Emotion - her most recent multi-banner champ daughter. ROCKSTAR's Sweet Child 'O Mine is the very lovely daughter of our Diamond Lil and Deja Vu's Royal Legacy by Best Man. This pedigree is chock full of some of the greats - Accoyo Elite, Snowmass Best Man and Snowmass Messiah, Peruvian Snowmaster, El Moustachio, Caligula, and Presidio. What's not to love? And we do love her, not only for being one of the top "sweeties" on the farm but her fleece is simply gorgeous - highly organized, bright, superfine, and uniform with great, great density. Sweetie performed well at her first show in 2018 at GWAS. She took a second in her halter class as a juvie and went on to win 1st place in the white walking fleece competition and was awarded the white fleece color championship. At our fall Gold Country show she was awarded 1st place in her halter class, 1st place and color champion in white walking fleece, and 1st place and color champion in the fleece show. Sweetie was also awarded both Judges Choice and best crimp award in the fleece show which was a huge surprise and honor.

6/11/26 - Kashmir delivered a beautiful female out of Velocity!! Pictures to come!! Truly priceless. Gorgeous, gorgeous girl with incredible fleece, amazing temperament, a great mom, and replacing her mother as the anchor of our white foundation herd. We gave Kashmir a little break after three gorgeous crias (all female) in a row - she had earned it! Fast forward to today, and we are anxiously awaiting Kashmir's cria by H2R Velocity, who needs little introduction. Son of H2R Valerian x Snowmass Scarlet Velvet, he is handsome, dense, uniform and bright with a luxurious handle to his fleece and rock-solid conformation. I've been imagining this cross since I first saw Velocity. Of course, Kashmir is no slouch, she has all the same in the way of those coveted fleece traits to boot (stud girl) and passes on her sweet temperament. Super excited...

5/20/26 - Maddie just delivered an incredible beige male by Crescent Moon's Misstifier. Stay tuned for details and photo's! Maddie's 2024 cria by UINTA Resolute (Jack), ROCKSTAR's Lucky Star XX is a 3x Color Champion in fleece for grade 0 plus, received Advance Fleece Awards in both shows and in the 2025 PNAA IFA fleece show recently won Most Uniform Per Grade. Love this female! Oh, how we love this girl! ROCKSTAR's Material Girl, born October 2018 to our beautiful Cherish (I know... a bit of a Madonna kick going) is a lovely Jumanji granddaughter sired by Majestic's Man Among Men. This girl has a lovely phenotype, gorgeous dense fleece with a soft buttery handle with brightness that just glows. Maddie did not disappoint in her first show outing at the 2019 Gold Country Gathering. She won a blue ribbon in her halter class as a juvenile but sadly there were not enough white females for a championship. She did, however, win 1st place honors and the championship in light walking fleece and we could not be more thrilled. Maddie has gone on to win numerous championships in both halter and fleece including being awarded as Judges Choice for fleece by Cheryl Gehly at the 2022 Gold Country Gathering.

6/16/26 - Colleen delivered a gorgeous beige female on 6/16/26 by H2R Velocity. She's going to be a stunner, which is exactly what this line does. With H2R Velocity as her sire, her future should be very bright. Cherished ROCKSTAR dam. Colleen has produced our best of the best: La Isla Bonita, Twisted Sister, Molly Hatchett, Fortunate Son, AC/DC, and her most recent - a stunning female cria by Crescent Moon's Misstifier - Pat Benatar. Since we are retaining a few of her daughters, this IS the absolute best opportunity for a very discerning breeder to, with one female, put your name on the alpaca map. Danae's first cria by ROCKSTAR's Coldplay (owned by Suzie Radtke/UINTA Alpacas) is a pretty female named ROCKSTAR's Aurora. Aurora's fleece was AMAZING - tight, bright, densely packed curly fiber at birth and became exceptionally nice as she grew and developed. Beautifully fine, bright, uniform, and dense - Aurora won a Reserve Color championship in her first show at 10 months of age. I purchased Danae as a juvenile to bring some new genetics into the herd. As she comes up at 10 years of age, Danae is holding her fineness and is exceptionally uniform with very little, if any, visible guard hair. With those boxes checked, it's easy to appreciate Danea's statuesque and upright frame, lovely head, perfect bite, and level topline. With fleece coverage down through her toes and beautiful brightness and character to her fiber, we expect Danae to hand down these positive traits to her offspring for many years. She's a secret treasure on our farm and one of the sweetest girls we own.

5/22/26 - Sara delivered a gorgeous fading fawn female today by H2R VELOCITY!!!! Stay tuned for pictures!! Sara is available for a limited time bred to the amazing H2R Velocity! The big question is - what color will her cria be - white, beige, FAWN, or darker? Sara's pedigree boasts a treasure trove of elite genetics - Snowmass Legacy Gold, Matrix, Matrix Majesty along with Aussie .38, Satin Reserve XX, and the list keeps going. Velocity brings his own legendary genetics to the equation - son of none other than 4X Herdsire of the year H2R Valerian and Snowmass Scarlet Velvet, a rockstar in her own right! What is not to love about this potential powerhouse color combo. We can't wait. Sara's 2024 cria out of ROCKSTAR's Renegade - out of our BEST white genetic program, gave us a gorgeous solid medium fawn male - ROCKSTAR's Axl Rose. Her prior year cria by UINTA Moon, ROCKSTAR's Bark at the Moon was also fawn with dense, uniform, and FINE fiber. Sara is tall and statuesque like her mum with strong substance of bone and amazing uniformity thanks to dear old dad. Her markings along with dark rose grey fiber (stay tuned on that one - could change), and overall stellar confirmation have made this girl quite the eye-catcher from the minute she hit the ground. She is super sweet and easy to handle. Her markings alone make her a definite farm favorite! Sara was not shown due to COVID but will continue to be an exceptional foundation female in our herd or YOURS!

ROCKSTAR's Iron Maiden is the lovely daughter of ROCKSTAR's Joan Jett x the incomparable 3x Futurity Champion Herdsire of the Year, Neversummer's US Steel. This combination produced not only a lovely, feminine female with gorgeous silver-grey fiber, but that fiber is also fine and uniform with a fabulous hand. Best of all, May May (named by our grandson Henry) has an excellent temperament, which is very chill and easy-going. This one is really part of the family and, as such, will remain in our foundation herd.

September 2025 - Flirt delivered a stunning light fawn female by Snowmass Divine Optics in early September 2025. She is lovely and will be one to watch in the late spring showing as a juvenile. She will be bred to H2R Velocity i Spring 2026. ROCKSTAR's Flirting with Disaster is a gorgeous female out of ROCKSTAR's Molly Hatchett x High Plain's Whiteout - a Canadian outcross we had the opportunity to use a few years ago. The resulting cria, now a beautiful yearling, affectionately called Flirt is no question going straight to our foundation herd. Not only is Flirt a fleece monster with literally gobs of the good stuff, but she is also uber-fine and uniform with a very long staple, above-average density, and coverage from her fuzzy face down to her toes. Phenotypically she is equally lovely with a very square and upright frame, level topline, great substance of bone, perfect bite, and extremely pleasing head style. She is a looker! Flirt had her first cria by Snowmass Dire Straits in early October of 2023. We were blessed with a STUNNING female cria - ROCKSTAR's Angel of Mercy by Dire Straits. She is phenomenal - fleece coverage everywhere with likely the most perfect head style we have ever produced. Already a 3x champion - be on be on the lookout for this little lady - she is spectacular with an extremely promising fleece.

June 24, 2026 - Caroline delivered a lovely, big, bright white female cria sired by our outstanding herd sire H2R Velocity - proudly co-owned with Happy Hounds Alpaca Ranch. Stay tuned for photos! Mom is on a well-deserved maternity leave for a bit! ROCKSTAR's Sweet Caroline is the lovely light brown daughter of our own multi-champion Heaven Sent Swiss Miss x Snowmass World Class. Unfortunately, Caroline would be World Class' last offspring - we are grateful to Patricia Kemberling for doing this breeding, which provided the awesome genetic package that he offered with the likes of Snowmass Porteus, Snowmass Andean Night, Andean Bronze, Pachacuti, XXXtreme, Accoyo Elite, Best Man... not too shabby. A standout in the pasture, Caroline has lovely confirmation - she is feminine, tall, and statuesque with good bone, level topline, and perfect bite. She is super sweet and easy to handle. Her fleece is bright, fine, and uniform. She earned color championships in both halter and walking fleece at her first show outing. Not a bad start!

On Maternity Leave! ROCKSTAR's At Last, more commonly known around here as "Gigi", delivered her first cria on June 25, 2026. A beautiful little male we believe to be sired by Crescent Moon's Misstifier. It's a bit of a mystery that we hope to confirm soon. Baby is gorgeous beigy-light fawn with lots of curly fleece, very nice substance of bone and totally chill attitude. Pictures to come!

He's kind of an older dude now, but at age of almost 14, Bon Jovi still has the goods. From early on, Bon Jovi exhibited a beautifully soft, bright white fleece that has stayed extremely fine, with many bundles packed on a conformationally perfect and well-balanced frame. Crimp everywhere with fiber down to his toes. He has an awesome-looking head, very level topline, perfect bite/jaw set, and outstanding substance of bone. Most importantly, Bon Jovi represents the cornerstone of our breeding program, which focuses on the highly sought-after uniformity of micron, fineness with density, staple length, brightness, lack of primary fiber, and excellence in conformation. He passes all of those fleece traits to his offspring and routinely passes the fawn color of his sire and grand dam. He is still available for breeding. We have been thrilled with and were VERY surprised and pleased with Bon Jovi's appearances at GWAS and the International Alpaca Odyssey (IAO) in 2014 where he took first place as a Yearling White Male and Reserve Color Championship in Cottage, first place in the Light Male Walking Fleece Show and second place just behind Snowmass Seventh Samurai in the Commercial Halter ring. Judges' comments praised Bon Jovi's combination of fineness with density, brightness of fleece, length of staple/fiber architecture, overall uniformity, and lack of guard hair moving across his blanket, through the shoulder area, and down his legs. I nearly passed out as he was praised for these fleece characteristics in both the Cottage and Commercial show rings, and could not be more pleased with the comments from Peter Kennedy at GWAS. In his only show appearance in 2015, BJ won 1st place in the male 2YO class and then went on to win the color championship. He's sporting some nice fleece stats at age 3 with an AFD of 17.7, 3.8 SD, CV of 21.5%, and .5 >30%. BJ's 2016 skin biopsy by Dr. Norm Evans confirmed some of our thoughts on density and uniformity. I could not be happier to own this amazing male in partnership with Arapaho Rose Alpacas - thank you and CONGRATULATIONS to Karen Kelly!! Looking forward to seeing all of the fantastic cria Renegade will produce for you and your clients! Breeding's are available at either partner farm. ROCKSTAR's Renegade was another textbook birth in late 2018 out of super-dam Rosie and Deja Vu's Royal Legacy by Best Man. We rebred Rosie after seeing her 2016 son Coldplay, immediately recognizing that we liked the increased density without compromising on the fineness/uniformity factor. Renegade does not disappoint in this regard with the addition of a gorgeous head, beautiful coverage, and a very, very, sweet personality just like his dam. Renegade debuted in the show ring at our 2019 fall show taking first place in his juvie class and went on to win the Reserve Color Championship for white males. Judge's comments highlighted his very, very fine fleece that is deceivingly dense, with a lovely handle and long staple. Very advanced architecture in his fleece from the skin to tip. At the 2021 National Fleece Show Renegade took first in his class earning him an Advanced Fleece Award. In 2022 at the National Fleece Show, he again earned another Advanced Fleece Award scoring an impressive 85/100 in points on the scorecard. Most impressive - he scored 19/20 for fleece weight! Renegade followed up his Nat'ls fleece performance with a great showing in both the Autumn Fleece Extravaganza and finally PNAA IFA Fleece Show in which he won the Grade 3 White Color Championship at 4 years of age, along with Advanced Fleece awards in both shows. If you're looking for a beautiful male who will offer lasting fineness, density, handle (he just won BEST HAND at nearly 5 years of age - 2023 GCG Autumn Fleece Extravaganza), staple length, and brightness to your females please take a look at Renegade. We are very excited about his contribution to our herd - he certainly has a bright future ahead of him.

I LOVE this young male. OOOhh la la Fleece - super fine and uniform for black! Hard to go wrong with his parentage. Dad is a multi-champion, and his dam has produced nothing but outstanding offspring who often sell before I can hang on to them. In his first show, Bank in Black (a.k.a. Angus) won the black male reserve Color Championship and was awarded Best Head. He has a beautiful phenotype, heavy bone, gorgeous head, and dense, soft handling, BRIGHT true black fleece. The uniformity on this male gets better as he ages. What's not to LOVE? He's developed into an excellent herd sire prospect -- grab this hunky young male as he has begun his breeding career! We are open to selling half interest in Angus for $7500.

Everyone says when a cria is born, as long as it's healthy, the gender doesn't matter. This is always true, but sometimes we're really hoping for a lovely little female... except when the pairing has produced something special prior. So, it was the case early in the day in 2022 when ROCKSTAR's Takin' Care of Business was born. His older full brother, ROCKSTAR's High Voltage, is an exceptional eight-time champion who is remarkable in his own right. Tank surprised us with his fantastic fleece traits: big-time density, insane staple length, and incredibly advanced architecture fleece that had us drooling. He carries a fine, very soft-handling and uniform fleece that glistens with brightness when you see it - something we have come to covet. It's not surprising, given his parents are both multi-champions in their own right. His dam was our farm's first ever to receive a Judges Choice award, and his father, Silver Rose Overture, tore up the West Coast show circuit in his day, winning more than ten championships and is still so regal to this day. Takin' Care of Business debuted in his first show in fall 2023, placing respectably in both show rings. He was a member of the Get of Sire (Silver Rose Overture) and Produce of Dam (Sweet Child o' Mine) teams' at the show, helping to take 1st in each competition. He went on to place respectable at the spring shows of 2024 and fared well earning a Judges Select banner at the 2024 IFA show at Nationals. He has since gone on in late 2024 to win a few more championships. He will begin to breed this summer.

Misstifier's first cria are on the ground for us, and we could not be more thrilled! Stay tuned for photos. He's throwing everything from white to brown in terms of color with great uniformity and density. Take advantage of having this elite male to breed to in CA while you can. He makes gorgeous cria with outstanding density, brightness, and uniformity. Proudly co-owned with Thordarson Farms. If you look through the collection of Happy Hounds production females sired by Snowmass Velvet Touche, Snowmass Scarlet Velvet stands at the top. Scarlet was handpicked by Julie Skinner during their retirement sale to be at the forefront of our foundation females. Simply put, she is beautiful in every way! When crossed with H2R Valerian in 2020, she added H2R Velocity to the pack. Velocity is a 14x banner winner, including Best Bred & Owned at the 2024 Futurity show and stands in the ranks as the light replacement for his decorated sire at Happy Hounds. In music, Velocity is the force with which a note is played. Happy Hounds would like to thank Lisa and Dave Morrison for striking the key and acquiring half ownership in H2R Velocity for Rockstar Alpacas. Lisa had her eye on him since he was a juvie and we are thrilled that she was able to watch him win the White Huacaya Male Color Championship at the 2024 California Classic as a mature male, in what is most likely his last show appearance. RSGB Hot Chocolate delivered a stunning Light brown male by Crescent Moon's Misstifier at exactly 356 days gestation!! He is stunning and built like a tank. His fleece is bright, super curly, and shows impressive density. Looking forward to watching him grow. Stealth grey?!?! RSGB Hot Chocolate is the daughter of A Paca Fun's Silver Legacy and Skyline's Enchanted. She has matured into a beautiful young lady of excellent size, lovely conformation, good bone substance, and a square/boxy frame. She exhibits extraordinary density which is deceiving due to the fineness and uniformity she shows in her fleece. Her rich, beautifully bright, maroon-colored fleece has a bolder crimp style almost identical to her 2x Color Champion mother, Skyline's Enchanted. Hottie, as she is known on the farm, is sweet and easy to handle just like her dam whom we adore. Hottie has a lovely pedigree boasting some of the great "grey" legends of the industry and could be bred to grey to pull that color out. We chose to breed her to Crescent Moon's Misstifier (co-owned with Thor Farms Alpacas) to not only continue to increase density but add staple definition and fineness. We're really happy with what Misstifier is doing in crosses such as this and expect a beautiful cria come April 2026.
